Who doesn’t love french fries? You may be surprised by how many of your favorite unhealthy meals and snacks have delicious, healthy alternatives. There is, however, a healthy french fry alternative that you can bake yourself. Create 1/2″ wedges or fries and toss them with a tablespoon of oil, a bit of salt and pepper, and your favorite herbs. Spread them out on a baking sheet, and pop in a 400 degree oven for a half hour. Gently loosen and turn the fries with a spatula, then bake for a final 10 minutes. Plan out you healthy meals and snacks for the entire week, and go to the grocery store armed with a list. If you develop an advance planning routine, you will learn to prep the meal in less time and make your dinner time process easier.

Take what you’ve just learned to heart, and you should start to see those pounds melt away. Without proper motivation you will not be able to push through hard workouts and stick to your diet when you feel pangs of hunger.
